Philosophy

Hellpig Stain is a fingerboard company philisophically founded in the idea of enhancing the art and beauty in natural materials.

Furthermore, I am a guitar player who has always maintained a deep appreciation of the beautiful stains and woodgrain selection used in the constructed of high quality guitars.

-Companies such as PRS, Schecter, Ibanez, and ESP all host incredible custom shop selections that showcase the beauty in the wood chosen to make each instrument.

-Each individually hand stained instrument I view as a masterfully crafted artpiece that only that one human was able to create. Each piece of wood being completely unique and each stain being equally unique. No two guitars are truly identicle. 

-These ideas are the foundation of the design process of each Hellpig fingerboard. Guitar-esq bursts, fades and stains showing showcasing the endless beauty provided randomly by Mother Nature.
